Residents' Unity Week
Welcome to Barking and Dagenham's first Residents' Unity Week, a week of community events for local people.
For the first of what Council officers hope will become a popular event, organisers have come up with a week of events to give local
people a chance to find out more about their community and get involved in shaping its future.
Two major conferences will get the week underway, one for the Council's 25,000 tenants; the other for the many residents who own their property, but are Council leaseholders.
Both conferences will give delegates a chance to find out about what's planned for the coming year and have their say about the future of housing in the Borough.
Thursday's finale at Vicarage Field shopping centre will mark the end of Residents' Unity Week, a fun-packed day with things to do for all the family.
If you want to come along to one or all of the events, just take a look at the details on the following pages and get calling to reserve your place. Remember that the Vicarage Field day is free and open to everyone so there is no need to book.
We look forward to seeing you there.
