The finale of Residents' Unity Week is a chance for everyone who lives or works in Barking and Dagenham to find out more about the Council and their community.
You are invited to join representatives from across the Council at Vicarage Field Shopping Centre, Barking, for an open day of information and events, starring popular Cliff Richard impersonator Jimmy Jemain.
Jimmy will be joined by community dance groups, hip hop and belly dancing demonstrations and a fashion show, featuring clothes on sale in the shopping centre.
Around 35 Council departments and community groups will also be on hand to pass on useful tips on things like recycling, good health and making the most of libraries and leisure centres.
Trained Council officers will also be at the event to give important advice on council tax and rent, benefits, housing and community safety.
The event is open to everyone so come down to Vicarage Field for a day of information, fun and entertainment.
